How to prepare for a test.

• Certain medications that may contain antihistamines, such as cold medicine, decongestants, anti-itch creams, or topical steroids, should be discontinued approximately 7 days prior to the test.
• Patients with heart disease or high blood pressure must inform their doctor about any medications they are taking.
• There is no need to fast or restrict food and drink before the test.
